L-Histidine is an essential fertility amino acid which has been included in the PregAssist for Women supplement. The fertility amino acid is one that cannot be produced by the body. You need to obtain it through consumption of food. The fertility amino acid is important for the formation of various enzymes such as ferritin which is essential for iron storage. It is also important for the formation of anti-oxidants and hemoglobin. More important though is its role in the formation of an enzyme that regulates Cysteine. Various metals such as zinc bind with the fertility amino acid and are transported to the relevant areas in the body. Overall the fertility amino acid is essential for proper cell division, enhancement of the libido and for hormone regulation.

Female fertility vitamins differ from the vitamins required to enhance male fertility. It is for this reason that we offer PregAssist for women and a separate supplement for men. Vitamin C although essential for the body, can in large dosages dry up the cervical fluids of the female. As such you will find that it is not one of female fertility vitamins in our supplement although it is essential in the PregAssist for men supplement. We include folic acid as one the important female fertility vitamins as it plays a vital role in prevention of neural tube defects and is important for the over well-being of the female. We also include Vitamins B6 and 12 to help with cell division, improve libido levels, and reduce the effects of PMS. In addition to the female fertility vitamins mentioned we have included just the correct amount of Zinc and other minerals as well as herbs to ensure overall health and fertility.

Just as with male fertility, female fertility declines as women reach a certain age. Researchers have confirmed that female fertility is reduced during the middle thirties. Now, studies also show that regardless of the age of their partner, even if the man is younger, if the woman is over the age of 34 there will be a higher risk of miscarriage. Miscarriage rates are known to be near 40% between the ages of mid-twenties to mid-forties. It has also been shown that the chance of the newborn baby being born with Downs syndrome is significantly higher for females nearer to their forties. For example, women who wait until their mid-thirties risk the chance of their newborn baby being 1 in 400 that are born with the disease. Although the ratio may not seem that high, it is simply not worth the risk of Down syndrome. The biological clock is ticking, but if you have waited until after 34, all is not lost. With excellent medical care and adequate nutrition as well as the correct supplements your chances of successful pregnancy increase.

When you hear exercise helps to boost fertility, you may feel some form of resistance build up. The good news is that you only require around 20 minutes to 30 minutes of exercise daily to boost fertility. You can also take two days a week off to give your body rest. Over training can have the opposite effect and if you are partaking in a strenuous exercise program you may want to cut down a bit to ensure that you ovulate. Start by taking a quick twenty to thirty minutes walk daily. It will get your heart rate up, boost metabolism, fight fatigue, help the body to get rid of toxins and in general help to restore the balance in the body. It will also enhance sexual functioning. Apart from a healthy eating plan you need moderate daily exercise to boost fertility.
