Although you may not have given it much thought in the past, your menstrual cycles do play an important role in fertility. Most females have some type of imbalance in their menstrual cycles helping them to identify where they are in the fertility cycle. It is important to note that about 15 % of miscarriages are caused by imbalances of the hormone levels. If you want a successful pregnancy you need to ensure that the hormonal balance is correct. You can start by keeping record of each day of your cycle – that is the mucus levels and how your body feels as well as how you feel emotionally. It will help you to identify any hormone changes. You should start recording at the beginning of a cycle which starts on the first day of your menstruation. Provide the information to the fertility expert who will be able to interpret the data. In addition also supplement with PregAssist for Women to help restore hormonal balances throughout your menstrual cycles.

Simple as it may seem it is not always that easy to get pregnant. A few tips are shared on how to get pregnant easier. High dosages of Vitamin C are not good for women who want to get pregnant. In fact high dosages of this vitamin will dry up the cervical mucus, making it extremely difficult to get pregnant. You thus need to ensure a stable and balanced diet without going overboard with Vitamin C. We include Vitamin C in the PregAssist for Men supplement because men need more Vitamin C for fertility, whereas women should get just the right amount of Vitamin C to ensure a healthy balance in their bodies. With thousands to millions bacteria around, people have reason for concern about their own safety. As such anti-bacterial detergents and soaps have become rather popular over the past 15 years. It should be noted that there are some anti-bacterial agents that can cause more harm than good regarding fertility levels. Two examples are that of triclocarban and triclosan which are added to many of the dental care and normal hygiene lotions and soaps. Many children’s toys are even coated with the two anti-bacterial agents. Originally used in hospitals to reduce the number of bacterial growth and infections, the two agents are now widely used by people in their homes. The problem with triclocarban is that studies indicate it interferes with hormone production which can severely affect fertility levels. The second agent triclosan according to studies hinders normal cell signalling and is thus also linked with lower fertility levels, immune deficiencies, and numerous allergies. The two agents have been dubbed as endocrine disrupting agents.

Who would have thought that the amazing soy product could be anything but good for your health. Overdoing it however, seems to be a big problem when it comes to male fertility. A recent study published in the Human Reproduction Journal (2008) indicated that men consuming soy may have a lower sperm count! The study concluded that the men with highest intake of soy had the lowest sperm count. Apparently soy contains phytoestrogen which is a plant soy that can have adverse affects on the sperm count. The worrisome part is that many foods contain it including pizzas. How to ensure that you don’t overdo it? Eat a healthy balanced meal three or more times a day – and go with fresh produce rather than pre-cooked or packaged foods.
