There are a few conditions which can cause male infertility which you should take note of. The causes of male infertility are numerous. A few of the causes of male infertility are briefly described. Sexually transmitted diseases can have long lasting effects if not treated in time. Certain illnesses such as mumps may affect the testicles leading to reduced sperm count. Another cause can be a vasectomy that is reversed. There is no guarantee that the reversal will be successful. Cryptochidism is a condition that can be present when the scrotal sack is completely empty and you should contact your physician immediately if it is the case. Inflammation in the area where sperm is stored can lead to swelling of testicles and also reduced sperm production capacity. Recurring urinary tract infections may lead to problems and indicate other medical problems. If any of the conditions apply to you seek medical advice from a qualified doctor immediately.

Men that are overweight increase their risk of several types of diseases such as heart attacks and strokes. Studies are now showing that there is an additional risk that can be added to the list – poor sperm production. It has been said that as long as the female partner has good fertility that the poor sperm production of the man will not cause a large concern. However, if both partners, male and female, are obese then it could pose a much larger distress. Obesity can decrease female fertility in the same sense that obesity can decrease male fertility. Men that are overweight tend to have higher body temperatures, which in turn could cause the poor sperm production. The poor quality of sperm could also be caused by diabetes as well as many other concerning factors that are still being studied.

Subfertility treatment options should be considered when a couple struggles to conceive after a year of not using any contraception and having intercourse on a regular basis. Subfertility is the term used to describe problems with conceiving which fall within the limits of the above description. Subfertility treatment may also be needed if the female is over the age of 35 and a year has passed without success with conceiving. Before considering more drastic steps such as adoption or surrogate mothers, couples should consider a safe and well balanced subfertility treatment supplement such as Pregassist that will help to restore the balance of hormones, immune systems, sperm production, regulation of menstrual cycles, and more through all natural ingredients. Combine with a healthy diet, more relaxed lifestyle and an overall healthier lifestyle and you will increase the chances of successful pregnancy without the need for any drastic steps.

Although most people think of Vitamin E as great for skin improvement and repairs of scars, Vitamin E for male fertility should not be ignored. Studies have shown that Vitamin E can improve the body’s ability to produce sperm. When combined with Vitamin C you will have a powerful anti-oxidant combination. This is important since free radicals in the body may reduce male fertility. Vitamin E and C can fight the effects of free radicals in the body and thus improve male fertility naturally. Vitamin E provides the protection of sperm membranes required and is essential in sperm production. As such the lack of Vitamin E will severely influence male fertility. It is for the reasons mentioned that we include Vitamin E for male fertility in our Pregassist formula for men.

Not only the quantity, but also the quality and motility of sperm as part of sperm production should be considered to evaluate fertility. Men with lower than 20 million per ml of semen produced are severely at risk of low fertility. It however, is not the end of the world, since some men still succeed with conception even with low sperm production. Another factor – that of how well the sperm can swim towards the egg and manage to penetrate it should also be taken into consideration. This is known as motility. The quality is thus just as important as quantity in sperm production.
Factors that will lead to lower and poorer quality sperm production include:
• Excessive smoking.
• Too frequent sexual activity. Ejaculation of two to three times a day may lead to problems with fertility.
• Infections.
• Stress and overworking.
• Excessive intake of alcohol.
The PregAssist product for men includes vital ingredients to improve quality and quantity of sperm production to ensure a higher level of fertility.
