Female fertility vitamins

Friday, April 3rd, 2009

Female fertility vitamins differ from the vitamins required to enhance male fertility. It is for this reason that we offer PregAssist for women and a separate supplement for men. Vitamin C although essential for the body, can in large dosages dry up the cervical fluids of the female. As such you will find that it is not one of female fertility vitamins in our supplement although it is essential in the PregAssist for men supplement. We include folic acid as one the important female fertility vitamins as it plays a vital role in prevention of neural tube defects and is important for the over well-being of the female. We also include Vitamins B6 and 12 to help with cell division, improve libido levels, and reduce the effects of PMS. In addition to the female fertility vitamins mentioned we have included just the correct amount of Zinc and other minerals as well as herbs to ensure overall health and fertility.

A cheaper and in many cases safer alternative to extreme fertility treatments is to be found in fertility herbs such as Siberian Ginseng, Black Cohosh, Chasteberry, and Chamomile. If combined in the correct formula the mentioned fertility herbs have been shown to significantly improve female fertility. Siberian Ginseng is known for its energy provision properties and the ability to improve uterine functioning. Black Cohosh is a hormone regulator known for helping to regulate the menstrual cycle effectively. Chasteberry helps to stimulate ovulation and the production of progesterone. Chamomile helps to reduce stress levels and to calm nerves. The PregAssist supplement includes all the mentioned fertility herbs in addition to essential vitamins and minerals.

Menstrual cycle fertility

Monday, March 9th, 2009

Although the menstrual cycle plays an important role for successful pregnancy, it is not enough to simply menstruate. The menstrual cycle should be healthy, the sperm must be able to move through the cervical channel, reach the egg which should still be alive, successfully penetrate and fertilize it, to begin the whole process of pregnancy.

Understanding your menstrual cycle however is extremely important regarding fertility. A normal menstrual cycle can be anything from 25-35 days. The average length of the menstrual cycle is 28 days. It should be noted that people with shorter menstrual cycles often struggle with fertility. As such you may need to supplement with a fertility balancing product which is all natural such as PregAssist for Women to help regulate the menstrual cycle and ensure that it is healthy. Address any issues regarding the length and regularity of the menstrual cycle to improve fertility.

Basal temperature and fertility

Monday, March 9th, 2009

In addition to cervix mucus changes during your menstrual cycle, you should also note changes in the body basal temperature which plays an important part in fertility. The body’s temperature will become higher during the days leading up to ovulation and will spike in the four days before ovulation. Just as the mucus will become thinner and see through almost like raw egg white, so will the basal temperature spike, indicating peak fertility periods. Intercourse about two or three days before ovulation will improve the chances of successful conception as your body will be in its peak fertility period. Get a body basal temperature thermometer to help assess any temperature rises. Also start to chart your menstrual cycle and take the PregAssist supplement to help regulate menstrual cycles, improve ovulation, and hormonal balance required for fertility.

Reproduction failure causes

Saturday, March 7th, 2009

The figures are somewhat grim when it comes to reproduction success of the human race in recent years. Although unconfirmed studies have shown that the chances of successful conception within the first 30 days are only about 25%. Studies also indicate that couples have a 1 out 12 chance of having sub-fertility problems. Surprisingly perhaps, but male factors contribute to around 40% of problems with reproduction. Possible causes for the reproduction failure figures include lifestyles, genetic factors, toxin build-up, unhealthy diets, stressful lifestyles, medicine, age, and environmental factors. The Pregassist supplement for men and women helps to address issues regarding nutrition, hormonal balances, deficiencies and more. View our products page for a full description of how the supplement helps to reduce the chances of reproduction failure.

Sperm morphology

Saturday, March 7th, 2009

Although often overlooked as a factor in male fertility the sperm morphology plays just as important a role as the speed, concentration, count, and motility of sperm. Sperm morphology is the term used for sperm size as well as shape. To be classified as a healthy sperm, the shape and size should be correct. The sperm should look like a little tadpole with the head being an oval shape and the centre area thinner with a tail. The head contains the genetic material whilst the centre contains the energy and the tail acts as the propeller to drive the sperm forward. Studies have shown that abnormal sperm morphology will ensure unsuccessful penetration. The Pregassist supplement will help to also improve the sperm morphology and thereby improving the chances of successful penetration, fertilization and thus conceiving by couples.
